Our excav PILOT is the first mobile 3D-GNSS assistance system on the market that can be used flexibly with various
construction machines and their tools. What makes it special is that the system requires only a single GNSS sensor.

Step 1

Attaching system units on machine

All excav PILOT system units are not permanently bolted or wired to the construction machine and fit in a single hardshell case. Thanks to a practical magnetic mount, the GNSS sensor and LED indicator can be easily mounted on the excavator bucket or other tool without leaving any residue. A strong suction cup mount allows the tablet to be safely attached to the driver's cab inner window.

Step 2

Calibrate excavator bucket or tool

The online manual guides you through all the steps required for initial use of the app. Each setup step is explained simply and clearly via detailed video instructions. All you need to do is know the exact bucket dimensions or measure the excavator bucket during calibration, and also communicate the exact position on the excavator bucket to the GNSS sensor once via the app. Our tip: Our optional pre-welded metal frame significantly shortens the tool calibration process later on.

The excav PILOT can be used with most types of common construction machinery on a construction site – depending
on the current on-site needs! The only requirement: The sensor needs a stable and unobstructed position on the tool.
