Thanks to practical magnetic mounts, the sensor and LED indicator cross can be easily mounted on any excavator bucket or other tool without leaving any residue. The suction cup mount allows the tablet to be attached to the driver’s cab window. The excav PILOT also comes with its own base station and generates RTCM correction data. It can be also used as a sensor.

The internal setup wizard guides you through the steps required for calibration. Each step is clearly explained via video instructions. All you need to do is know the exact bucket dimensions or measure the bucket during calibration , and also provide the sensor with its position on the bucket once. A welded-on metal tray shortens the process.

The system is ready for use within minutes. Y ou can also permanently save multiple buckets or tools with their specific dimensions on the sensor to further accelerate the initial calibration process.
