The excav PILOT is the first 3D GNSS assistance system on the market that can be switched between construction 

machines in a matter of minutes without any prior preparation. This is because our system requires only a single GNSS sensor.

Step 1

Attaching system units on machine

All system units of our excav PILOT are not permanently bolted or wired to the machine and fit into a case. Thanks to a practical magnetic mount, the GNSS sensor and the LED crosshair can be easily mounted on the excavator bucket or other tool without leaving any residue. The tablet can be securely attached to the driver's cab window using a suction cup mount and can be swiveled into position.

Step 2

Calibrate excavator bucket or tool

The video tutorial available online guides you through all the steps relevant for the initial commissioning of the app. All you need to do is know the exact bucket dimensions or measure the excavator bucket during calibration and also use the app to tell the GNSS sensor the exact position on the excavator bucket once. Our tip: Thanks to our optional metal frame, which is welded on beforehand, each bucket only needs to be calibrated once.

The excav PILOT can be used with most types of common construction machinery on a construction site – depending

on the current needs on site! The only requirement is that the sensor must be positioned stably and freely on the tool.
